These past few weeks have been crazy hectic, almost everybody’s back home. We’ve got families from Kuching and Brunei coming in, aunts and cousins from KL, both my sisters gotten themselves two weeks of holidays too, all resulting in a full house, and good friends (a whole bunch of them!) came home for the holidays too which made things a whole lot merrier!
The Raya celebration was the usual FUN, been scampering from houses to houses, lots of reunions and catching up done, idle talk of worldly gossips, unbelievable amount of photo sessions, hard works of preparing the food and cleaning the house, met some really old friends, families and cousins fussing about busy with their wedding plans; everything mixed together and having everybody collected all in one place was just awesome.
Along the way too I’ve tried archery for the first time (which was hell for the arms), fell in love with Sushi King out of the blue and been thinking of going there every day since there’s this ‘happy hour’ offer every day from 3-5pm, gotten myself into wall climbing, found out that ‘How I Met Your Mother’ was kinda good, joined the Times Privilege Card family (now entitled to 10% off books, 20% off on my birthday month!), been forcing myself to jog AT LEAST four times a week, and there’s a plan on going to one of the most amazing place in Sabah right around next week with the family, the tip of Borneo!
Life is good so far in Malaysia, been searching for something to do every morning I wake up, quite in desperate need for distractions, and it felt like the holidays are moving too fast! Little I know it’s been 2 months since I’m home. This particular part is hateful to feel.
And this morning, mama and I bid goodbye to my aunt and uncle as they’re going back to Kuching, and that was the last of them all (friends and families). Everybody’s back to their own places now, studies and work need to be done. Hope we'll meet again then!
The sisters.
(Part of) the cousins.
Berhari raya di taman. Hehe.
Friends.
And more friends!
Eid Mubarak everybody!
